Ethiopian Muslims in Toronto Canada have held a public meeting on February 18th, 2008 at the Ethiopian Canadian Muslim Community center, in Toronto to express their concern about the new regulation that has been proposed by the Ministry of Education in Ethiopia. Representatives from Ethiopian Embassy in Ottawa were among the participants.

In this meeting Ethiopian Muslims in Toronto have raised their concerns and demanded the Ethiopian government Authorities to stop the implementation of such unjust regulation that targets only Muslim students and prohibits them from performing their religious obligation.
